2-(2H-Benzotriazol-2-yl)-4,6-di-tert-amylphenol, commercially known as UV-328 or Tinuvin 328 (CAS 25973-55-1, EC 247-384-8), is a benzotriazole-class UV absorber with molecular formula C22H29N3O. It carries no assigned E-code and is also referenced under trade designations such as ThasorbUV328 and UV Absorber 328.

In polymer stabilisation, UV-328 absorbs UV radiation in the 300–385 nm range and dissipates it as heat, preventing photodegradation of polyolefins, PVC, and engineering plastics. In industrial coatings and automotive refinish systems, it is combined with HALS to extend film durability and colour retention under prolonged outdoor exposure.

UV-328 is supplied as a solid and is registered under REACH (EC 247-384-8).
