Description

Aspartame Acesulfame Salt, CAS 106372-55-8, is a co-crystallised sweetener formed by combining aspartame and acesulfame-K in a 1:1 molar ratio. Commercially known under the trade name Twinsweet, it delivers the combined sweetening profile of both components within a single molecular salt rather than a physical blend.

In food and beverage formulation, the salt provides approximately 350 times the sweetness of sucrose while reducing the bitter aftertaste associated with acesulfame-K alone. The ionic interaction between the two components modifies taste kinetics, producing a cleaner, faster onset that makes it suitable for tabletop sweeteners, chewing gum, and flavoured dairy products.

Aspartame Acesulfame Salt is supplied in solid form and classified under HS code 2934990002. It is subject to REACH registration requirements for EU market entry and should meet FCC or equivalent food-grade specifications. Procurement quantities and packaging formats are available on request.
