Description

Benzidine Yellow G (CAS 5468-75-7, EC 226-789-3), also known as Pigment Yellow 14 and C.I. 21095, is a diarylide organic pigment with the molecular formula C34H30Cl2N6O4. It belongs to the azo pigment class and is commercially referenced under names including Benzidine Yellow and aaotyellow.

In plastics and polymer compounding, it delivers strong yellow coloration with good dispersibility in polyolefin and PVC matrices. In printing inks and packaging applications, it provides the opacity and lightfastness required for process color work, particularly in offset and flexographic systems. Coatings and rubber formulations also rely on it for consistent hue strength across pigment loading ranges.

Benzidine Yellow G is subject to REACH registration requirements within the EU and must be handled in accordance with applicable CLP classification obligations. It is supplied as a solid in nanomaterial form, and buyers should confirm particle size specifications and SDS documentation prior to procurement to ensure compliance with downstream use conditions.
