Description

Bis(pentaerythritol), also known as dipentaerythritol and sold under trade names including D-PE300, Dipentek, and Di-Pentarit, is a polyol alcohol with the molecular formula C10H22O7 (CAS 126-58-9). It carries no assigned E-code and belongs to the alcohols and glycols chemical category.

In alkyd resin and polyurethane coatings, its six hydroxyl groups provide a higher crosslink density than standard pentaerythritol, improving hardness and chemical resistance. In lubricant esters and heat stabilizer systems for PVC, it reacts with fatty acids or stabilizer components to extend thermal performance under processing conditions.

Bis(pentaerythritol) is supplied as a white crystalline powder and is registered under REACH (EC 204-794-1). It is available in technical grade for industrial coatings and polymer applications, with cosmetic-grade material suitable for skin-conditioning formulations. Standard packaging includes 25 kg bags, with bulk options available on request.
