C.I. Pigment Yellow 3 (CAS 6486-23-3) is a monoazo organic pigment also known as Hansa Yellow 10G, Fast Yellow 10G, and by the colour index number C.I. 11710. It belongs to the acetoacetanilide class of yellow pigments and is supplied as a dry powder.

In printing inks, PY3 delivers strong yellow hue strength at low loadings, making it suitable for offset and flexographic formulations where colour consistency across print runs is critical. In plastics and coatings, it disperses into resin matrices to provide opaque yellow colouration with adequate heat stability for standard processing temperatures.

PY3 is available in standard pigment grades and supplied in fibre drums or multi-wall paper sacks.
