C.I. Pigment Yellow 74 (CAS 6358-31-2, EC 228-768-4, C.I. 11741) is a monoazo organic pigment commercially known under trade names including Dalamar Yellow and Luna Yellow. It belongs to the acetoacetanilide class of yellow pigments and carries no assigned E-code, as it is not approved for food contact applications.

In waterborne and solvent-based coatings, PY74 delivers strong yellow hue with good lightfastness by absorbing light in the violet-blue region through its conjugated azo chromophore. It is also used in printing inks for packaging applications, where its clean masstone and transparency support process colour reproduction, and in plastics compounding for colouring polyolefin and PVC systems at moderate processing temperatures.
