Decyl glucoside

In rinse-off personal care formulations such as shampoos and body washes, decyl glucoside reduces interfacial tension between oils and water, enabling effective removal of sebum and residue without disrupting the skin barrier. It also functions as a foam booster and co-emulsifier in mild cleansing systems, where it stabilises foam structure and supports even distribution of active ingredients.
