Dibutyltin diacetate

In silicone sealant and elastomer production, dibutyltin diacetate acts as a condensation catalyst, accelerating the cross-linking of silanol-terminated polymers at room temperature. It is also used in polyurethane systems to regulate the gelation-to-blowing ratio, and as a catalyst in the synthesis of certain polyesters and organosilicon coatings.
