In industrial and household cleaning formulations, DPDME dissolves oils, greases, and resins by combining ether linkages with moderate polarity, enabling effective soil lift without aggressive odour profiles. In coatings and printing inks, it functions as a coalescing solvent and diluent, slowing evaporation rate to improve film formation and levelling on substrate surfaces.

DPDME is supplied under REACH registration and is handled in standard industrial packaging including drums and IBCs. No FCC or Ph.Eur. grade designation applies.
