Description

Hexahydrophthalic anhydride (HHPA, CAS 85-42-7) is a cycloaliphatic anhydride supplied under trade names including Rikacid HH, Araldite HT 907, and Lekutherm Hardener H. It carries no E-code designation and is registered under EC 201-604-9, with REACH compliance applicable across European markets.

In epoxy resin systems, HHPA functions as a curing agent by reacting with epoxide groups to form ester linkages, producing thermoset networks with good thermal stability and electrical insulation properties.
