Malachite green

Malachite Green (CAS 569-64-2) is a synthetic triarylmethane dye supplied as green crystalline solid, also known commercially as Aizen M, Green Mx, Fast Green, LC 6220, and S NO 754. It carries no E-code designation and is classified under HS code 29215900.

In textile and leather processing, Malachite Green dyes cellulosic and protein-based fibres through ionic bonding with negatively charged substrate sites, delivering strong green coloration. In printing and packaging applications it functions as a colorant for inks and coated papers. It also serves as a catalyst in specific oxidative and photocatalytic reaction systems.

Malachite Green is available in technical grade for industrial dyeing and catalytic applications.
