In textile and paper finishing, NMA 60 acts as a cross-linking agent by forming covalent bonds with cellulose hydroxyl groups, improving dimensional stability and wet strength. In polymer systems, its dual functionality allows it to co-polymerize into acrylic networks while simultaneously introducing reactive sites for further cross-linking or surface grafting.
