Sodium carbonate perhydrate

Sodium carbonate perhydrate (CAS 15630-89-4), also known as sodium percarbonate or peroxy sodium carbonate, is an oxidising salt that releases hydrogen peroxide and soda ash upon dissolution in water. In water treatment, sodium percarbonate delivers controlled oxidation to break down organic contaminants and disinfect without chlorine residues. In textile and paper processing, it functions as a bleaching agent by generating reactive oxygen species that degrade chromophores in fibres and pulp.
