Description

Thiamine Mononitrate (CAS 532-43-4) is the nitrate salt form of Vitamin B1, also known as Thiamine Nitrate or Aneurine Nitrate. Unlike thiamine hydrochloride, the mononitrate salt offers greater stability under heat and humidity, making it the preferred B1 form for dry blending and solid dosage applications.

In food and nutrition manufacturing, it is used to fortify flour, cereals, and infant formula, where it restores B1 levels lost during processing. In personal care formulations, it functions as a skin conditioner and humectant, supporting moisture retention in leave-on and rinse-off products. Its antioxidant activity also contributes to formula stability.

Thiamine Mononitrate is available in pharmaceutical and food-grade qualities, compliant with Ph.Eur., USP/FCC, and REACH regulations. It carries HS code 29362200 and is supplied as a crystalline powder in standard drum and bag formats suited to industrial-scale procurement.
