Triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (CAS 109-16-0) is a bifunctional methacrylate monomer also known by trade names TGM 3, TGM 3PC, and NK Ester 3G. It carries EC number 203-652-6 and the molecular formula C14H22O6. No E-code designation applies to this substance.
In UV- and peroxide-cured coatings, TGM 3 acts as a reactive crosslinker, forming covalent bridges between polymer chains to increase hardness and solvent resistance.
