Description

Trimethylolpropane ethoxylate triacrylate (CAS 28961-43-5, EC 500-066-5) is a trifunctional acrylate monomer built on an ethoxylated trimethylolpropane core. It is commercially available under trade names including TMP3EOTA, Chemlink 176, and Photomer 4149 TF, and carries no assigned E-code.

In UV-curable coatings and printing inks, it undergoes rapid free-radical photopolymerization upon UV exposure, forming a densely cross-linked network that improves scratch resistance and adhesion. In adhesive and sealant formulations, the ethoxylate spacers increase chain flexibility between cross-link points, allowing formulators to balance cure speed against film elongation.

This material is supplied as a liquid and is registered under REACH for supply within the European Economic Area.
