Description

Tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate, commonly known as TDCIPP or by trade names PF 38, PF 38/3, and Fyrol FR 2, is a chlorinated organophosphate flame retardant with CAS number 13674-87-8 and EC number 237-159-2. It carries no assigned E-code and is classified under HS code 29199000.

TDCIPP functions as both a reactive flame retardant and a plasticizer in flexible polyurethane foams, where it interrupts combustion by releasing halogen radicals in the gas phase. It is also applied in textile back-coatings and construction insulation boards to meet fire classification requirements under EN and UL standards.

The product is supplied as a technical-grade material in compliance with REACH registration requirements. Standard packaging includes drums and IBC containers, with documentation available to support REACH substance identification and supply chain due diligence obligations.
