Description
Zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate (CAS 137-30-4), commercially known as Ziram or Cumate, is a zinc salt of dimethyldithiocarbamic acid registered under EC 205-288-3. It carries no E-code designation and is classified under HS code 29302000 within the dithiocarbamate family of organosulfur compounds.
In agriculture, Ziram functions as a protective fungicide by inhibiting fungal enzyme systems involved in spore germination, making it effective against scab, anthracnose, and shot-hole diseases on fruit crops. In rubber manufacturing, it acts as an ultra-accelerator for sulfur vulcanization, shortening cure times and improving crosslink density in natural and synthetic rubber compounds.
This product is supplied as a technical-grade powder compliant with REACH registration requirements applicable to EU importers and downstream users. Standard packaging formats are available for industrial procurement volumes, and documentation including SDS and certificate of analysis is provided upon request.
