Trideceth-3

Trideceth-3 (CAS 4403-12-7), also known as Triethylene glycol monotridecyl ether, is a short-chain ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol surfactant.

Where is Trideceth-3 used?

• Personal care: emulsifier for oil-in-water systems in creams, lotions and rinse-off cleansers
• Industrial and institutional cleaning: hard-surface degreasing in low-foam detergent concentrates and spray and wipe applications
• Textile processing: wetting and scouring agent for fiber penetration in pre-treatment and dyeing
• Leather and paper processing: dispersing treatment agents for uniform finishing
• It functions as a nonionic emulsifier, wetting agent and degreaser with low-foam performance.
