Octyl stearate

Octyl stearate (CAS 109-36-4) is a fatty acid ester produced from stearic acid and octanol, used across personal care, plastics, and industrial lubrication. It functions as an emollient, plasticizer, and carrier medium depending on the application. In personal care formulations, it acts as a skin-conditioning emollient and solvent carrier for active ingredients in creams, lotions, and color cosmetics.
