Disodium lauroamphodiacetate (CAS 14350-97-1), commercially known as Miranol H 2M, is an amphoteric surfactant derived from lauric acid.

Where is Disodium lauroamphodiacetate used?

• Shampoos and body washes: foam volume and creaminess
• Baby care and sensitive-skin cleansers: mildness profile
• Facial cleansers and micellar formulations: emulsification of sebum and light makeup residues
• Conditioning shampoos and 2-in-1 formats: post-rinse softness
• It reduces the irritation potential of harsher anionic surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate.

Good to know: Compatible with a broad range of ionic surfactant systems. Not to be confused with harsher anionic surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate.
