• Personal care: emulsion stabiliser in creams, lotions and conditioning products requiring a mild anionic surfactant
• Textile processing: scouring and degreasing agent removing oils, waxes and contaminants from fibre surfaces before dyeing or finishing
• Leather processing: incorporated into degreasing baths to prepare hides for tanning and treatment
• Paper manufacturing: disperses process chemicals and aids surface cleaning
• It functions as an emulsifier, dispersant and cleaning agent.
