Soyamide DEA

Soyamide DEA (CAS 68425-47-8), also known commercially as Mackamide S, is a diethanolamide derived from soybean fatty acids used as a foam booster, thickener, and emulsifier in personal care and industrial cleaning formulations.

Where is Soyamide DEA used?

• Shampoos, body washes and liquid hand soaps: boosts and stabilizes foam from anionic surfactants while thickening the base
• Industrial and institutional cleaners: improves soil suspension and extends foam persistence in hard-surface and degreasing applications
• Textile processing: emulsifier and lubricant aid during fiber preparation and finishing
• Leather treatment and paper manufacturing: supports emulsification of processing oils and improves surface conditioning
