Sodium coco sulfate

Sodium coco sulfate (CAS 97375-27-4), commonly abbreviated as SCS, is an anionic surfactant derived from coconut oil fatty alcohols. It functions as a primary cleansing and foaming agent across personal care and industrial cleaning formulations.

This versatile ingredient generates dense, stable lather while effectively removing oils, soils, and residues. In personal care, SCS is used as the primary surfactant in solid shampoo bars, syndet bars, and cleansing tablets.
