Certolake Tartrazol Yellow

Certolake Tartrazol Yellow (CAS 12225-21-7), also known as C.I. Pigment Yellow 100, is an aluminum lake pigment derived from tartrazine.

Where is Certolake Tartrazol Yellow used?

• Cosmetics and personal care: coloring pressed powders and eyeshadows
• Lipsticks: oil- and water-resistant color
• Printing inks and packaging coatings: yellow hues where dye bleed would compromise quality
• Food: coatings, tablet pans and confectionery shells where moisture would dissolve conventional dyes
