• Household and industrial cleaning: primary active surfactant
• Liquid detergents, dishwashing formulations and hard-surface cleaners: breaks down grease and oils at low concentrations
• Textile processing: scouring and wetting agent that removes sizing agents, oils and contaminants from fiber surfaces prior to dyeing
• Water treatment: disperses suspended solids and emulsifies in effluent treatment
• In shampoos and body washes it provides controlled foaming and cleansing.
