• Personal care: conditioning agent and preservative booster in rinse-off and leave-on formulations
• Hair conditioners and skin creams
• Industrial and institutional cleaning: active biocide against bacteria and fungi
• Textile processing: softening and antistatic agent in fiber finishing
• Leather and paper manufacturing: surface-active treatment agent for wetting, penetration and uniformity of processing baths
• It also serves as an antimicrobial preservative, surface modifier and emulsifier in formulated products.
