Description

Hydroxylamine sulfate (CAS 10039-54-0), also known as hydroxylammonium sulfate or HAS, is a stable, solid salt form of hydroxylamine used across chemical synthesis, surface treatment, and formulation industries.

It functions primarily as a reducing agent, chemical intermediate, and antioxidant stabilizer in manufacturing processes where controlled reactivity is required. In personal care and cosmetics, HAS acts as a pH adjuster.

It serves as an antioxidant stabilizer in hair color formulations and skin-lightening products. Agricultural chemical synthesis relies on it as a key intermediate in the production of oximes, which are precursors to herbicides.

These oximes are essential for the creation of various pesticides. Textile and leather processing operations use it for fiber treatment and as a reducing agent in dye stripping and surface preparation during manufacturing.

Pharmaceutical manufacturers employ HAS in the synthesis of active intermediates, particularly in oxime-based reaction pathways. Hydroxylamine sulfate is supplied as a white crystalline powder or granule for industrial use.

It is available in technical grade for industrial synthesis applications and in higher-purity grades suitable for pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing. Standard packaging ranges from small drums to bulk quantities.

Moisture-controlled packaging is required to maintain product stability during storage and transit. This ensures the chemical integrity of the material remains consistent for all high-precision industrial and laboratory applications.
