Oleyl erucate

Oleyl erucate (CAS 17673-56-2), also marketed under the trade name TEGOSOFT OER, is a fatty acid ester derived from erucic acid and oleyl alcohol. It functions as a lubricant, plasticizer, and emollient across industrial and personal care applications.

This chemical offers low-viscosity performance with high thermal stability for demanding environments. In metalworking and industrial lubrication, it is used as a base fluid or additive in cutting oils and forming lubricants.
