Acid green 5

Acid Green 5 (CAS 5141-20-8), also known commercially as Light Green SF Yellowish and AF Green No. 2, is a synthetic triarylmethane acid dye used to impart bright yellow-green shades to a range of substrates.

Where is Acid green 5 used?

• Textile dyeing: wool, silk and nylon fabrics, strong color yield and good leveling under acid bath conditions
• Leather finishing: uniform surface coloration in drum dyeing and spray application
• Paper manufacturing: colored printing and packaging grades
