Description
Dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate (CAS 60506-81-2), commercially available as SR 399 and Miramer M500, is a high-functionality multiacrylate monomer used to achieve rapid UV/EB cure.
It is utilized to create dense crosslink networks in radiation-curable systems. Its five reactive acrylate groups deliver high crosslink density, making it a go-to building block for formulations.
This monomer is ideal where cure speed, hardness, and chemical resistance are primary targets. In UV-curable coatings, it builds scratch-resistant, hard surface finishes for wood, plastic, and metal substrates.
