Aerosil R 972

Aerosil R 972 (CAS 60842-32-2) is a hydrophobic fumed silica made by surface-treating pyrogenic silica with dimethyldichlorosilane.

• Coatings: prevents sagging and settling while maintaining low viscosity at high shear
• Adhesives and sealants: builds thixotropy in polyurethane, epoxy and silicone systems
