Description

Bis(trimethoxysilylpropyl)amine (CAS 82985-35-1), sold commercially as Dynasylan 1124, is a bifunctional aminosilane coupling agent carrying two trimethoxysilyl groups bridged through a secondary amine.

It bonds inorganic substrates to organic polymer matrices, improving adhesion and mechanical performance at the interface. In rubber and polymer compounding, it functions as a crosslinker and coupling agent.

For silica-filled systems, it improves filler dispersion and reinforces the silica-polymer network in tire treads and technical rubber goods. Coating and adhesive formulators use it to prime glass, metal, and mineral surfaces.

This increases wet adhesion and long-term durability under demanding environmental conditions. In fiberglass and composite manufacturing, it is applied as a sizing component to strengthen the fiber-resin interface.

This is critical for structural parts in automotive and aerospace assemblies. Electronics manufacturers apply it as a surface treatment on substrates where strong, moisture-resistant bonding is required.

It is particularly effective between inorganic surfaces and encapsulants or underfill resins. Bis(trimethoxysilylpropyl)amine is supplied as a liquid and is available in technical grade for industrial use.

Packaging options typically range from drums to intermediate bulk containers suited to industrial procurement volumes. Purity specifications and lot documentation are standard for buyers requiring traceability.

This ensures reliability in formulation or quality-controlled manufacturing processes. The product meets rigorous industrial requirements for high-performance chemical bonding and surface modification.
