Description

C10-18 Triglycerides (CAS 85665-33-4), also known commercially as Suppocire OSIX and C10-18 Glycerides, are semi-synthetic lipid esters derived from medium- to long-chain fatty acids esterified with glycerol.

They function as emollients, emulsifiers, and lubricants across personal care, food, and industrial formulations. In cosmetics and personal care, they act as skin-conditioning emollients and co-emulsifiers in creams and lotions.

These triglycerides are frequently used in lipstick bases, providing a smooth, non-greasy skin feel that supports formulation stability. In food and nutraceutical applications, they serve as carriers and encapsulation matrices.

They are ideal for fat-soluble actives, including vitamins and flavors. Industrial lubricant formulators use them as bio-based base fluids or additive carriers where biodegradability and low toxicity profile influence procurement.

In adhesive and coating systems, they function as plasticizers and processing aids that improve substrate wetting and film flexibility. These materials are supplied as a white to off-white waxy solid or semi-solid.

The physical state depends on the fatty acid chain distribution. Food-grade and cosmetic-grade specifications are the most commonly sourced, with pharmaceutical-grade material available under established suppository base standards.

Bulk supply is typically offered in cartons or drums, with pallet quantities standard for industrial buyers. This versatile chemical ensures high performance across diverse manufacturing sectors and specialized applications.
