Bromacil

Bromacil (CAS 314-40-9) is a uracil-based herbicide used for broad-spectrum weed and brush control. Also marketed as Hyvar X, Uragan and Borea.

Where is Bromacil used?

• Non-crop land: industrial sites, railway corridors, utility rights-of-way and roadsides where bare ground maintenance is required for safety
• Citrus and pineapple cultivation: control of grassy and broadleaf weeds without damaging the established crop
• Formulation into herbicide products as a standalone active or in combination with other actives such as diuron
