Bis(triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide, also known by the CAS 40372-72-3, is a bifunctional organosilane coupling agent used across rubber compounding and polymer processing. It bridges inorganic fillers with organic polymer matrices.

This chemical improves the mechanical integration of silica and other mineral fillers into elastomer systems. In tire manufacturing, it is the industry-standard coupling agent for silica-reinforced tread compounds.
