• Hair care: deposits onto the hair shaft for detangling, softness and static control in conditioners, rinse-off treatments and leave-in sprays
• Fabric softeners and rinse conditioners: smooth hand feel
• Textile laundering: reduces static cling on fibers
• Industrial and institutional cleaning: surface-active agent for hard surfaces, cationic charge aids adsorption
• Textile and leather processing: antistatic finish and softening agent in wet processing stages
• It functions as a conditioning agent, emulsifier and antistatic where substantivity to negatively charged surfaces is required.
