Rose oil

Rose oil (CAS 8007-01-0), also known as otto of roses, is a steam-distilled essential oil derived primarily from Rosa damascena and Rosa centifolia petals.

Where is Rose oil used?

• Fine fragrance and prestige cosmetics: core heart note in perfumes, facial serums, and high-end skin creams
• Confectionery and bakery: trace-level rose flavor in Turkish delight, chocolates, and specialty beverages
• Personal care: facial oils, toners, and hair treatments
