Where is 4,4'-dithiodimorpholine used?

• Tire manufacturing: in efficient vulcanization (EV) and semi-EV systems for compounds with improved heat aging resistance
• Tire components: reduces reversion in sidewalls and inner liners
• Mechanical goods, belts and hoses: for long-term thermal stability under dynamic stress
• It functions as a secondary curative alongside accelerators such as CBS or TBBS.

Good to know: It releases active sulfur during processing to form cross-links within elastomer networks, enabling controlled cure without relying on elemental sulfur alone. Formulators use it to fine-tune crosslink density and polysulfide distribution.
