Bronopol

Bronopol (CAS 52-51-7), also known commercially as beta-Bromo-beta-nitrotrimethyleneglycol and 2-Nitro-2-bromo-1,3-propanediol, is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial active used primarily as a preservative and biocide.
