Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil (CAS 61789-91-1), also marketed as jojoba bean oil, is a liquid wax ester extracted from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis.

Where is Jojoba oil used?

• Cosmetics: skin-conditioning base and emollient in moisturizers and serums
• Hair oils and lip products: compatible with sebum
• Industrial lubricants: high-pressure lubricant and metal cutting fluid additive
• Coatings and adhesives: plasticizing agent and dispersant improving flexibility and substrate adhesion
