Where is Aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid used?

• Water treatment: prevents calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale in cooling towers, boilers and reverse osmosis systems by threshold inhibition and crystal modification
• Oil and gas: scale inhibitor in oilfield injection water and produced water handling
• Textile and paper processing: sequesters hardness ions in process water, preventing interference with dyeing, bleaching and pulp treatment chemistry
• Metalworking and mining: corrosion inhibitor and chelating agent in circulating water systems and mineral processing circuits
