C12-13 Pareth (CAS 66455-14-9) is a nonionic ethoxylated alcohol surfactant derived from a C12–C13 fatty alcohol blend. Also marketed as Neodol 23-3.

Where is C12-13 pareth used?

• Household and industrial cleaning: primary surfactant in liquid detergents, hard surface cleaners and degreasers, with low-foam or controlled-foam profiles
• Personal care: emulsifier for rinse-off products such as body washes and shampoos
• Textile processing: scouring and wetting agent that removes oils and sizing agents before dyeing and finishing
• Industrial and institutional cleaning concentrates emulsify hydrocarbon soils in alkaline formulations.
