C14-15 Alcohols (CAS 75782-87-5) are synthetic fatty alcohol blends derived from oxo synthesis. Also marketed as Oxocol 1415 and Dobanol 45.

• Surfactant manufacturing: ethoxylated to produce nonionic surfactants for household and industrial cleaning products
• Metalworking and lubricants: carrier components in cutting fluids
• Emulsifiable oils: controlled viscosity and blending compatibility with mineral oils
• Cosmetics: solvent carriers in fragrance and active delivery systems
• They function as emulsifiers, rheology modifiers, and carrier solvents in personal care, cleaning, and industrial formulations.
