Description

Decaglyceryl decaoleate (CAS 11094-60-3), also sold as Polyglyceryl-10 decaoleate, is a polyglycerol ester of oleic acid used primarily as a non-ionic emulsifier and moisturizing agent.

It bridges oil and water phases in formulations where stability and skin compatibility are both procurement priorities. In cosmetics, it functions as an emulsifier and skin-conditioning agent in creams and lotions.

This ingredient enables stable oil-in-water or water-in-oil systems without synthetic ethoxylated alternatives. Food manufacturers use it to improve fat dispersion and texture in various processed foods.

It is particularly effective where clean-label or natural emulsifier positioning is required. In coating and adhesive formulations, it acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for industrial use.

The material improves substrate adhesion and surface uniformity across different applications. Its humectant character also supports moisture-retention performance in leave-on personal care products.

Common applications include body butters and hair treatments where hydration is essential. Decaglyceryl decaoleate is typically supplied as a viscous liquid or paste at ambient temperature.

Food-grade and cosmetic-grade specifications are the most commercially available. Some suppliers offer material compliant with FCC or relevant EU food additive standards for global distribution.

Packaging is commonly available in drums and IBCs for industrial volumes. This ensures efficient handling and storage for large-scale manufacturing and chemical processing facilities.
