Where is Lead octoate used?
- Rubber and polymer processing: crosslinking and polymerization accelerator
- Rubber compounding: vulcanization accelerator and co-catalyst improving cure speed and crosslink density in technical rubber goods
- Polymer and PVC: heat stabilizer co-component and catalytic additive for controlled gelation and thermal stability
- Lubricant and metalworking: extreme-pressure additive package component
- In specialty coatings and alkyd resins it promotes oxidative curing as a drier catalyst.
