Fluazifop-p-butyl

Fluazifop-p-butyl (CAS 79241-46-6) is a selective post-emergent herbicide for broad-spectrum grass control in row crops and specialty agriculture. Also marketed as Fusilade Super, Fusilade II and Fusilade 2000.

Where is Fluazifop-p-butyl used?

• Soybean, cotton and sunflower: control of annual and perennial grasses such as volunteer cereals and couch grass at post-emergence
• Vegetable and oilseed crops: elimination of competitive grass pressure during early development
• Turf and ornamentals: management of grass weed encroachment in non-cereal systems
• Tank-mix programs require graminicide activity alongside broadleaf herbicides.

Good to know: Targets grassy weeds without affecting broadleaf crops, so crop selectivity is critical.
