Description

Methyl methacrylate (CAS 80-62-6), commonly known as MMA, is a reactive monomer used as the primary building block for polymerization processes across coatings, plastics, and adhesive systems. It polymerizes readily to form poly(methyl methacrylate) and serves as a co-monomer in a broad range of acrylic polymer formulations. In coatings and surface treatments, MMA is polymerized to produce acrylic resins.

These resins deliver optical clarity, UV resistance, and durability in automotive, architectural, and industrial finishes.
